Part of the Greater St. John's metropolitan area, Southlands is a neighbourhood within St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador.

Transportation

Southlands is an extremely good part of St. John's for moving around by car. The majority of real estate listings are a short car ride from the nearest highway, such as I2:12:31 Highway, and parking is generally easy. The bike is a somewhat poor mode of transportation in Southlands because the bicycling infrastructure is not very comprehensive, and the terrain is not especially flat.
