The neighbourhood of Old West End is part of the city of St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, which is located in the Greater St. John's metropolitan area.

Transportation

Old West End will attract physically active house buyers since it is quite convenient for walking; many common errands can be run without having to resort to a car. In contrast, commuting by bicycle is at times challenging in this area because the cycling infrastructure is not particularly well-developed, and travelling by bike is made arduous by the typically steep terrain.
