The neighbourhood of Barkers Point can be found in the city of Fredericton, New Brunswick, which is situated in the Greater Fredericton metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is a great means of transportation in this part of the city. Many properties for sale are a short car ride from the closest highway, and it is very easy to park. On the other hand, Barkers Point is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far away from most properties. This area is a fairly pleasant part of Fredericton for bike riders. More specifically, it is a flat ride to most locations. Barkers Point is not very suitable for walking as most daily needs are at times difficult to meet on foot.

In all cases, a vehicle is needed in Barkers Point to access the nearest grocery store. There are a few options for those who value close by restaurants.
