The neighbourhood of Sandyville is part of the city of Fredericton, New Brunswick, which is situated in the Greater Fredericton metropolitan area.

Transportation

Sandyville is very car friendly. Coming across a parking spot is generally easy, and it is a reasonably short drive to the nearest highway from any location in Sandyville. However, this area is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, house owners are served by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most residences. The bike is a fairly good mode of transportation in this area. A majority of the homes for sale in this part of the city are located in places that are not very conducive to walking because very few common errands can be run on foot.

Services

Home buyers in this area almost always have to rely on a vehicle to reach the nearest supermarket. In terms of education, this neighbourhood does not contain any high schools or primary schools. Additionally, daycares are not especially abundant and accordingly tend to require a rather long walk to get to.

Character

People who prefer a relaxed environment will enjoy Sandyville. The noise levels in this neighbourhood are very low, as the streets are usually very tranquil. Lastly, green spaces are very well-distributed and there are a few of them close by for residents to visit, which makes them very easy to access.

In Sandyville, about two thirds of buildings are single detached homes, while the rest are mainly small apartment buildings.
