The neighbourhood of Glenrosa can be found in the municipality of West Kelowna, British Columbia, which is situated in the Greater Kelowna metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is an excellent means of transportation in Glenrosa. It is very convenient to come across a place to park, and the majority of real estate listings are a reasonably short car ride from the nearest highway, such as Highway 97C Offramp. However, public transit riders may experience limited options in this part of the municipality as a result of the infrequent service. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and the closest bus stop is generally very close. Glenrosa is not very bicycling-friendly as there is a considerable amount of slopes, and there are few bike lanes. It is also difficult for pedestrians to move around in Glenrosa as very few common errands can be run on foot.

Services

It is a very short walk to access primary schools and daycares from any location in Glenrosa. In contrast, high schools are not very abundant and thus tend to require a long walk to get to. As far as eating is concerned, a portion of property owners in Glenrosa may have the option to purchase groceries on foot, while others will need a vehicle.

Character

Glenrosa is an excellent neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a calm ambience. This part of West Kelowna is wonderful for those who enjoy a quiet atmosphere, as the streets are usually especially peaceful. Finally, there are approximately 10 green spaces close by for residents to explore, including Glen Canyon and Webber Road Community Centre, making them easy to get to.

About 40% of homes in Glenrosa were built between 1960 and 1980, while many of the remaining buildings were constructed in the 1980s and the 1990s. The sizeable percentage of single detached homes in the housing stock of this area is an important part of its character.
