Gloucester

Gloucester is a neighbourhood within Township of Langley, British Columbia, which is located in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area.

Transportation

Cars are a great medium of transportation in this area. Nearby highways are quite easy to drive to from any home in this area, and it is very convenient to park. Gloucester is not very suitable for walking because running daily errands is very inconvenient on foot. Moving around by bicycle is also challenging in this area since there are a good number of hills for cyclists to brave, and the cycling network is quite poor.

Services

This part of the municipality does not have any high schools or primary schools. In terms of food, doing one's groceries very often demands the use of a car in Gloucester. Residents are served by a few restaurants and cafes.

Character

Gloucester offers a slower-paced environment. Gloucester is reasonably quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour - however some parts can be quite loud, especially near the railway line. Parks aren't well-spread out, which makes them sometimes challenging to reach. Despite that, there are a few public green spaces nearby for residents to visit.
