Hazelmere is a neighbourhood within Surrey, British Columbia, which is situated in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area.

Transportation

This neighbourhood is very car friendly. Parking is easy. Many of the houses for sale in this part of Surrey are located in places that are not very well-suited for walking as very few daily needs can be met without the use of a car. It is also occasionally challenging to get around by bicycle in Hazelmere as the topography is not especially flat, and the cycling network is rather limited.

Services

Buying one's groceries very often necessitates the use of a car in this neighbourhood. Regarding education, families will value that wherever their property is situated in this area, primary schools are nearby. On the other hand, there are no high schools in Hazelmere.

Character

There is a reasonably good selection of green spaces in Hazelmere. It is easy to reach green spaces from most locations within the neighbourhood, since there are approximately 10 of them nearby for residents to visit and a large number of houses for sale have a park that is very easy to access. Finally, it is relatively calm in this part of the city, as there are very few pedestrians.

Housing

In Hazelmere, about 80% of buildings are single detached homes, while the remainder are mainly duplexes.
