The neighbourhood of Grandview can be found in the city of Surrey, British Columbia, which is situated in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area.

Transportation

This area is a fairly convenient part of Surrey for pedestrians; many day-to-day errands can be run without the use of a vehicle. It is also convenient to move around by bicycle in Grandview since the cycling infrastructure is very good. The public transit service in this area is not very frequent. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most residences. On the other hand, cars are a fairly good means of transportation in Grandview. It is convenient to park, and many real estate listings are a rather short drive from the nearest highway, such as Highway 99.

Services

The nearest supermarket in Grandview is usually only a short walk away. A small number of restaurants and coffee shops can be found as well. In terms of education, families will welcome that no matter where their home is situated in Grandview, both primary and secondary schools are nearby. Along with public schools, there are private elementary and high schools. However, there are only a few daycares and thus they can be a long walk away.

Character

Grandview is an excellent neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a slower-paced environment. It is easy to reach public green spaces since there are about 40 of them close by for residents to visit. This part of Surrey is also very quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour.
