Located in the Greater Prince George metropolitan area, Austin East is a neighbourhood within Prince George, British Columbia.

Transportation

Driving is a great means of transportation in Austin East. Parking is easy. However, the public transit service in Austin East is fairly poor. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and bus stops are typically nearby. This part of Prince George is not very suited for bicycling as the cycling network is rather poor, and there are a fair number of elevation changes to challenge cyclists. Walking is also not very practical for residents in Austin East because many daily needs are inconvenient to meet without the use of a vehicle.

Services

It is a rather short walk to reach primary schools and daycares from most houses for sale in Austin East. However, there are no high schools in this part of the city. Concerning food, getting to the closest supermarket on foot is practical for some, but not all, house buyers in Austin East. There are also a few options for those who appreciate close by restaurants.

Character

People who prefer a calm atmosphere will enjoy Austin East.
