Westend is a neighbourhood within New Westminster, British Columbia, which is situated in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area.

Transportation

No matter the means of transportation, it is reasonably convenient to get around in Westend. The public transit network in this part of New Westminster is reasonably good. More specifically, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and most properties are very close to a bus stop. A majority of the houses for sale in this part of the city are located in areas that are also reasonably suitable for those who travel by foot; running daily errands is convenient, and a good number of businesses of different types can be found as well. It is convenient to get around by bike in Westend because the cycling infrastructure is reasonably comprehensive.

Services

Parents and their kids will appreciate that no matter where their house is situated in this neighbourhood, daycares and schools are nearby. As far as food is concerned, the nearest grocery store in this area is usually only a short walk away. Additionally, Westend is a fairly good place in which to go out to eat.
