Harewood is a neighbourhood within Nanaimo, British Columbia, which is located in the Greater Nanaimo metropolitan area.

Transportation

Harewood is quite amenable to cycling because the bicycling network is reasonably well-developed. This neighbourhood is also suitable for walking; many daily needs are convenient to meet without the use of a vehicle. Cars are a very good transportation option in Harewood. Coming across a place to park is easy, and it is a reasonably short car ride to the nearest highway from any location in this neighbourhood. In contrast, the public transit service in Harewood is not especially frequent. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and the closest bus stop is generally just around the corner.

Services

Some home buyers in this neighbourhood may be able to reach the nearest supermarket on foot, while others will have to rely on another means of transportation.
