The neighbourhood of Ferndale can be found in the municipality of Mission, British Columbia, which is situated in the Abbotsford - Mission metropolitan area.

Transportation

The favoured way to navigate Ferndale is usually a car. It is especially convenient to find a parking spot. This part of the municipality is not very amenable to cycling because cyclists encounter a considerable amount of slopes, and there are very few bike lanes. It is also very difficult for pedestrians to get around in Ferndale because almost no daily needs can be carried out on foot.

Services

In Ferndale, parents and their kids will typically be able to get to daycares on foot. However, there are only a few high schools in this neighbourhood and thus they can be a long walk away. Moreover, Ferndale does not contain any primary schools. When it comes to food, in all but a very small number of cases, a car is required to purchase groceries.

Character

Ferndale offers a slower-paced atmosphere. Ferndale is very quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour.
