Situated in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area, Gleneagles is a neighbourhood within West Vancouver, British Columbia.

Transportation

Commuting by car is especially convenient in Gleneagles. It is a very short drive to the nearest highway, such as Trans-Canada Highway, from any location in this part of the municipality, and it is very convenient to find a place to park. On the other hand, the public transit service in Gleneagles is not very frequent. Nonetheless, residents benefit from a few bus lines, and the closest bus stop is typically just around the corner. Cycling is challenging in this area because this part of West Vancouver is home to a somewhat poor cycling infrastructure, and there is a considerable amount of hills. Walking is also not very practical for property owners in Gleneagles because very few daily errands can be run on foot.

Services

It is a very short walk to access primary schools from any location in this area. In contrast, there are no high schools in this part of the municipality. In terms of eating, it is very easy to get to the closest supermarket on foot in this neighbourhood.

This area is very good for those who like quiet surroundings, as the streets are usually very peaceful - however some parts can be quite loud, especially closer to Trans-Canada Highway.
