Part of the Greater Nanaimo metropolitan area, Westwood is a neighbourhood within Nanaimo, British Columbia.

Transportation

Driving is an excellent medium of transportation in this part of Nanaimo. It is very easy to access a parking spot, and many houses for sale are a short drive from the nearest highway, such as Nanaimo Parkway. However, the public transit service in this part of the city is rather limited. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and bus stops are generally nearby. Travelling on foot is not very feasible for property owners in this part of the city as running common errands is sometimes challenging by walking. However, Westwood is quite appropriate for cycling.

Services

Both primary and secondary schools are convenient to walk to from most homes for sale in Westwood. In contrast, it can be challenging to get to daycares as a pedestrian.
