Driving is a great transportation option in this part of Kamloops. It is a rather short car ride to the nearest highway, such as highway 5a, from anywhere in this area, and it is very easy to park. In contrast, commuting by transit can be difficult in Sahali due to the low service level. Nonetheless, there are approximately 10 bus lines crossing the community, and bus stops are not very far from most houses. This community is not especially well-suited for walking since meeting daily needs is at times difficult. On the other hand, getting around by bicycle is convenient in Sahali.

Schools and daycares are convenient to access on foot from anywhere in Sahali. Parents are served by public and private schools at both the primary and secondary school level. With respect to food, a portion of home buyers in this area may be able to reach the nearest grocery store on foot, while others will have to use another means of transportation.
