Parkway is a neighbourhood within District of North Vancouver, British Columbia, which is located in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is often the favoured approach to get around in this neighbourhood. Parking is easy. However, the public transit system in Parkway is not very convenient. Nevertheless, residents have access to a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far away from most residences. It is sometimes difficult for people walking to move around in Parkway because many daily needs are inconvenient to carry out without the use of a car. However, this part of District of North Vancouver is suited for biking since this neighbourhood is home to a reasonably good bicycling infrastructure.

Services

Primary schools and daycares are especially easy to walk to from most properties for sale in Parkway. However, this area does not have any high schools. Regarding eating, a supermarket is usually reachable within a short walk from any home in Parkway. Furthermore, it is convenient to reach the closest cafe on foot.

Character

The character of Parkway is exemplified by its slower-paced ambience. The noise levels in this part of the municipality are especially low, as the streets are generally very peaceful. Lastly, parks are very easy to get to since there are a few of them nearby for residents to visit.

Housing

Single detached homes are the most common housing type, representing around one third of buildings in Parkway, and the rest of the properties are mainly large apartment buildings and small apartment buildings.
