Carisbrooke is a neighbourhood within District of North Vancouver, British Columbia, which is located in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area.

Transportation

This neighbourhood is a fairly pleasant part of District of North Vancouver for pedestrians; carrying out daily needs is convenient on foot. Carisbrooke is also quite amenable to bicycling. Carisbrooke is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far away from most properties. However, the preferred transportation option in this part of District of North Vancouver is usually a car. Many homes for sale are a short drive from the nearest highway, and it is convenient to find a place to park.

Services

A supermarket is ordinarily reachable within a short walk from any home in this area. There are also a limited number of choices for those who appreciate nearby restaurants and cafes. With respect to education, daycares and schools are straightforward to walk to from anywhere in this neighbourhood.

Character

Carisbrooke is a wonderful neighbourhood to buy a home in for those who prefer a slower-paced atmosphere. This area is very quiet, as the streets are especially tranquil. Finally, the majority of locations in the neighbourhood have reasonably good access to green spaces, such as Princess Park and Greenbelt, since there are approximately 20 of them close by for residents to visit.

Housing

Around three quarters of the dwellings in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners whereas the rest are rented. About 60% of dwellings are single detached homes, making it easy to find detached homes in this neighbourhood, but duplexes are also present in the housing stock. About 45% of properties in this area were constructed in the 1960s and 1970s, while most of the remaining buildings were built pre-1960 and in the 1980s. This neighbourhood offers mainly three bedroom and four or more bedroom homes.
