Tempe is a neighbourhood within City of North Vancouver, British Columbia, which is situated in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area.

Transportation

Getting around by bicycle is easy in this area since this neighbourhood boasts a good cycling infrastructure. Active property owners will also appreciate the quite walk-friendly nature of Tempe; running common errands is easy, and a good number of businesses of different types can be found as well. The favoured mode of transportation in Tempe is very often driving. The majority of houses for sale are a very short car ride from the closest highway, such as Trans-Canada Highway, and accessing a place to park is generally easy. On the other hand, travelling by transit can be occasionally challenging in Tempe due to the low service level. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and the closest bus stop is typically very close.

Single detached homes are the predominant housing type, representing roughly half of dwellings in Tempe, and the rest of the homes are mainly small apartment buildings and duplexes. About one third of properties in this neighbourhood were built in the 1980s, while the majority of the remaining buildings were constructed pre-1960 and in the 1960s.
