Transportation

Douglas provides homeowners with several alternative modes of transportation. This area is reasonably well-suited for those who travel by foot; many daily needs can be met by walking, and numerous businesses are quite close by. Cycling is also easy in this neighbourhood because the cycling infrastructure is fairly good. The public transit system in Douglas is good thanks to about 10 nearby bus lines. Douglas is also car friendly because it is commonly not too challenging to come across a place to park.

Services

Families will find that no matter where their home is located in Douglas, schools and daycares are nearby. With respect to eating, a general and a specialty grocery store is always only a rather short walk away in this part of the city. Moreover, there is often a restaurant or cafe just around the corner.

Character

Douglas is a reasonably good neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a relaxed atmosphere.
