The neighbourhood of Blacklock is part of the city of City of Langley, British Columbia, which is located in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area.

Transportation

Cars are a fairly good mode of transportation in Blacklock. It is very easy to find a parking spot. On the other hand, commuting by public transit is difficult in Blacklock. Nevertheless, property owners are served by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far from most houses. Walking is not very common in Blacklock, although many daily errands can be run without having to resort to a vehicle. In contrast, Blacklock is cycling-friendly as the cycling network is quite extensive.

Services

Daycares and schools are very easy to get to on foot from any location in this part of City of Langley. In terms of eating, the nearest grocery store in this area is generally only a rather short walk away.

The character of Blacklock is exemplified by its slower-paced atmosphere. This area is reasonably quiet, as the streets tend to be quite tranquil. Finally, parks are very easy to reach since there are a few of them close by for residents to relax in.
