Part of the Greater Chilliwack metropolitan area, Ryder Lake is a neighbourhood within Chilliwack, British Columbia.

Transportation

Cars are a very good mode of transportation in this area. It is very easy to park. On the other hand, the public transit service in Ryder Lake is quite poor. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and it is convenient to get to a nearby bus stop from most residences. It is challenging for people travelling on foot to move around in Ryder Lake as meeting daily needs is difficult by walking. This area is also not particularly appropriate for cycling because the cycling network is not very well-developed, and riding is rendered arduous by the often sloping topography. Nevertheless, riding a bike is better in some pockets than others.
