Historic Downtown is a fairly pleasant part of Abbotsford for pedestrians; many daily needs are convenient to carry out by walking, and there are also a good number of businesses in proximity. This area is also cycling-friendly. The public transit service in this area is rather poor. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is linked by about 10 bus lines, and it is very convenient to find a nearby bus stop from most homes. In contrast, moving around by car is straightforward in this area.
