Laura Sumarah

Having grown up in the Halifax area, Laura has had the opportunity to live and be involved in many different communities including Tantallon, Dartmouth, Fall River, Waverley, Beaver Bank and Wolfville. Laura went to high school in Tantallon and enjoys furthering her education to learn new skills. While completing her Bachelor of Kinesiology at Acadia University, Laura volunteered with the Wolfville Volunteer Fire Department as a Firefighter and Medical First Responder. She was also involved in the Fire Prevention Committee and lead presentations to local elementary schools and community groups on how to prevent fires. During her maternity leave with her son, Shay, Laura couldn't resist learning more and completed her Post-Secondary Certificate online in Human Resources Management. Before joining Real Estate, Laura worked in the Human Resources field for 4 years. Laura's passions outside of work often still revolve around the real estate industry. Her and her partner, Brandon own multiple properties which they renovated themselves alongside their full-time jobs and raising their three children. They now have rental suites in Waverley, and Beaver Bank. Laura can usually be found with her family near the water. Whether it be on her parent's boat in Tantallon, walking the streets in the South Shore, or camping near a lake somewhere. She is also very interested in DIY projects, scrapbooking, and re-decorating her home.
