In the summer of 2004, our family immigrated to Canada and decided to settle in Victoria. We just fell in love with the city for its beauty, its friendly residents and a perfect place to raise our two kids. Before immigrating to Canada, I had spent 15 years in the Oil and Gas Sector in India under various Management positions. I joined the Victoria Immigrant and Refugee Centre Society (VIRCS) in 2005 and worked under various capacity, as a Job Coach, Employment Liaison, Director of Employment and Executive Director in Interim. In February 2013, I became a licensed REALTOR® with the Victoria Real Estate Board and began my exciting journey in real estate as Team Member of Sweet Home Victoria Real Estate Team, with Fair Realty. I have a Master’s degree with major in Human Resources and also completed my Advanced Diploma in Human Resources from Camosun College in 2007. I was nominated for the Lieutenant Governor’s Silver Medal Award for the Diploma and also contributed my time as a member of Camosun College Program Advisory Committee for Human Resources Programs I studied for! In my spare time, I have volunteered as Director and Treasurer of the India Canada Cultural Association of Victoria, as member of the Ambassadors Committee with the Greater Victoria Chamber of Commerce, Heart & Stroke Foundation and the Municipality of Saanich.
