Michael Tudorie

I have lived in Vancouver since 2000, and this city has become both my home and the focus of my work. My path here was not simple, and that journey continues to guide how I support clients today. I grew up under an oppressive regime with little freedom or opportunity. At 19, I made the difficult choice to leave my home country. My first stop was Sweden, where I stayed briefly before taking a larger leap toward a better future. Determined to reach Canada, I boarded a freighter as a stowaway. After a tense stop in Liverpool, I eventually arrived in Halifax. That moment marked the true beginning of my new life. In Halifax, I worked in hospitality and discovered the core of my service approach. I studied Hotel Management at Mount Saint Vincent University and worked with the Starwood Hotel Group and Royal Caribbean Cruise Line. These roles taught me the value of anticipating needs, communicating clearly, and earning trust through consistent action. This concierge mindset later became the foundation of my real estate practice. When I moved to Vancouver, everything aligned. Over the years, I built my career, my network, and my family here. Becoming a husband and father deepened my appreciation for the city and reinforced my commitment to helping others through major life transitions. My own experience showed me that moving is never just about changing addresses. Whether someone is buying, selling, downsizing, or moving up, the decision carries emotion, timing, and risk. My role is to make the process clear, strategic, and manageable so families can move forward with confidence. What began as a dramatic escape has grown into a life built on purpose and gratitude. Vancouver gave me a home, and today I take pride in helping others find theirs. What a joy, and what a journey.
