Deer Mountain is an extremely good part of Strathcona County for driving. Coming across a place to park is easy. However, this area is not very transit friendly. The bicycle is a rather limited method of transportation in this part of Strathcona County because the bicycling infrastructure is not very extensive, and riding is rendered difficult by the typically steep terrain.
