Part of the Greater Edmonton metropolitan area, South Riel is a neighbourhood within St. Albert, Alberta.

Transportation

The preferred transportation option in this part of St. Albert is usually a car. It is very convenient to park, and many properties for sale are a rather short car ride from the nearest highway. On the other hand, the public transit system in South Riel is not very accessible. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and bus stops are commonly nearby. South Riel is not very suitable for those who travel by foot since very few daily needs can be met without having to resort to a vehicle. In contrast, getting around by bicycle is easy in this neighbourhood as the bicycling infrastructure is extensive.

Services

Daycares are convenient to reach on foot from most houses for sale in South Riel. In contrast, this part of St. Albert does not contain any primary schools or high schools. In terms of eating, a portion of home buyers in South Riel may be able to travel to the closest grocery store on foot, while others will have to turn to another means of transportation.
