The neighbourhood of Downtown St. Albert is part of the city of St. Albert, Alberta, which is situated in the Greater Edmonton metropolitan area.

Transportation

Commuting by bicycle is convenient in this part of the city because the cycling network is extensive. Travelling on foot is also reasonably practical for property owners in Downtown; many daily errands can be run without needing to resort to a vehicle, and there are also a fair number of businesses close by. The public transit network in this part of St. Albert is rather limited. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most residences. On the other hand, cars are a great medium of transportation in Downtown. It is very convenient to find a parking spot, and nearby highways are very easy to access from any home in Downtown.

Services

It is convenient to get to both a general and a specialty grocery store by walking from anywhere in Downtown. Furthermore, a restaurant is commonly just around the corner, for example along St. Anne Street, and there are also a few cafes in this part of the city.
