The neighbourhood of Lakeview can be found in the city of Lethbridge, Alberta, which is situated in the Greater Lethbridge metropolitan area.

Transportation

Active property owners will appreciate the walk-friendly nature of this neighbourhood; many daily errands can be run on foot. A fair number of residents in the area use their bike as bike riders do not encounter significant slopes, and the bicycling infrastructure is comprehensive. Travelling by transit can be challenging in Lakeview by reason of the infrequent service. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and most properties are very close to a bus stop. However, Lakeview is a very convenient part of Lethbridge for travelling by car. The majority of real estate listings are a short drive from the closest highway, and it is very convenient to park.

Services

Getting to the nearest grocery store by walking is possible for some, but not all, property owners in this part of the city. A small number of restaurants and coffee shops can be found as well. Concerning education, primary schools are very easy to access on foot from any location in this part of Lethbridge. However, this area does not contain any high schools.

The sizeable proportion of single detached homes in the housing stock of Lakeview is an important part of its character. This neighbourhood offers mainly three bedroom and four or more bedroom homes. Homeowners occupy around 80% of the dwellings in Lakeview whereas renters occupy the remainder. Most of the housing growth in this neighbourhood took place in the 1960s and 1970s.
