The Canyons

The neighbourhood of The Canyons is part of the city of Lethbridge, Alberta, which is situated in the Greater Lethbridge metropolitan area.

Transportation

The Canyons is a very good part of Lethbridge for getting around by car. Finding a parking spot is generally easy. In contrast, this area is not very transit friendly. The Canyons is quite appropriate for bicycling because riding is facilitated by the generally flat terrain, and the cycling infrastructure is reasonably good. Walking is not very convenient for residents in The Canyons since most daily needs are impractical to carry out without the use of a vehicle.

Services

Daycares are especially convenient to reach on foot from any location in The Canyons. On the other hand, there are no primary schools and no high schools in this area. In terms of food, a car is almost always needed in The Canyons to reach the nearest grocery store. Nevertheless, it is generally a rather short distance to the closest pharmacy, which can supply some staple foods. A cafe is often just around the corner.

Character

People who prefer a slower-paced environment will enjoy The Canyons. It is very easy to access parks from the majority of locations in the neighbourhood since there are a few of them close by for residents to unwind in.
