Part of the Greater Edmonton metropolitan area, Westbrook Estates is a neighbourhood within Edmonton, Alberta.

Transportation

This area is very car friendly. It is very convenient to come across a place to park, and most homes for sale are a reasonably short car ride from the nearest highway. On the other hand, the public transit system in Westbrook Estates is sometimes poor. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and the closest bus stop is usually very close. Westbrook Estates is conducive to bicycling because there are a good number of bike lanes, and cyclists do not encounter serious elevation changes. Westbrook Estates is not particularly convenient for those who travel by foot since carrying out day-to-day needs is occasionally difficult.

Services

Some, but not all, property owners in Westbrook Estates will live within walking distance of the nearest grocery store. However, a coffee shop is often just around the corner. Concerning education, parents and their schoolchildren will value the proximity to schools and daycares, which are within walking distance from the majority of houses for sale in Westbrook Estates.
