Located in the Greater Calgary metropolitan area, Scenic Acres is a neighbourhood within Calgary, Alberta.

Transportation

Cars are an excellent transportation option in this area. It is a rather short drive to the closest highway from any location in Scenic Acres, and it is very easy to park. On the other hand, public transit riders may find limited options in this part of Calgary as a result of the low service level. Thankfully, the nearest rapid transit station, including Crowfoot Station with access to the Red Line - Somerset - Bridlewood/Tuscany CTrain, is typically within walking distance from the majority of homes in the neighbourhood. House owners are served by about 10 bus lines, and bus stops are commonly nearby. A majority of the homes for sale in this part of the city are located in areas that are not especially suitable for walking because few common errands can be run without the use of a vehicle. On the other hand, the bicycle is a fairly good method of transportation in Scenic Acres as there are a fair number of bike lanes.

Services

It is a short walk to access primary schools from anywhere in Scenic Acres. However, there are no high schools in this area. With respect to eating, property owners in Scenic Acres almost always need a car to shop for their groceries.
