Part of the Greater Calgary metropolitan area, Kingsland is a neighbourhood within Calgary, Alberta.

Transportation

Kingsland offers property owners the choice between various methods of transportation. Walking is feasible for residents in this part of the city; meeting daily needs is convenient on foot, and a fair number of businesses of different types can be found as well. Getting around by bicycle is also easy in this part of Calgary. The public transit network in Kingsland is reasonably accessible. In particular, it is easy to find a nearby rapid transit station, including Heritage Station on the Red Line - Somerset - Bridlewood/Tuscany CTrain, from the bulk of homes in the neighbourhood. House owners have access to approximately 10 bus lines, and the closest bus stop is usually just around the corner. Driving is often the favoured mode of transportation in Kingsland. Parking is easy.

Services

It is convenient to access both a general and a specialty grocery store by walking from any home in Kingsland. Likewise, there is commonly a restaurant or cafe in close proximity, for example on Macleod Trail.
