Beaches

The neighbourhood of Beaches is part of the city of Chestermere, Alberta, which is situated in the Greater Calgary metropolitan area.

Transportation

Beaches is very car friendly. Many real estate listings are a reasonably short car ride from the closest highway, and it is very easy to park. However, this part of Chestermere is not very transit friendly. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and it is very convenient to reach a nearby bus stop from most residences. Walking is not very feasible for house buyers in Beaches because very few daily errands can be run without having to use a vehicle. This neighbourhood is also not particularly cycling-friendly as there are a fair number of hills for cyclists to brave. Thankfully, the bicycling network is well-developed.
