Part of the Grande Prairie metropolitan area, Gateway is a neighbourhood within Grande Prairie, Alberta.

Transportation

Physically active house buyers will be pleased with the reasonably walk-friendly nature of Gateway; many common errands can be run on foot. Gateway is also appropriate for bicycling since the cycling infrastructure is reasonably good, and bike riders do not face serious hills. Moving around by car is very easy in this neighbourhood. It is very convenient to park, and the majority of properties for sale are a short drive from the closest highway. In contrast, commuting by public transit is difficult in Gateway. Nonetheless, homeowners benefit from a few bus lines, and bus stops are usually nearby.

Services

The closest grocery store in Gateway is usually only a short walk away. In addition, there is commonly a restaurant or cafe in close proximity, for example along Westgate Drive.
