Part of the Grande Prairie metropolitan area, Crystal Ridge is a neighbourhood within Grande Prairie, Alberta.

Transportation

The car is usually the best transportation option in Crystal Ridge. It is especially convenient to come across a place to park, and the majority of houses for sale are a reasonably short drive from the nearest highway. In contrast, Crystal Ridge is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, property owners have access to a few bus lines, and bus stops are generally nearby. This neighbourhood is quite bicycling-friendly as Crystal Ridge has a fairly good bicycling infrastructure. Crystal Ridge is not particularly well-suited for walking as few daily errands can be run without the use of a car.

Services

The closest supermarket in Crystal Ridge is usually only an extended walk away. Residents of this neighbourhood can enjoy a few restaurants as well. In terms of education, it is a reasonably short walk to access both primary and secondary schools from any location in Crystal Ridge. However, there are only a very small number of daycares and thus they can be a very long walk away.
