Situated in the Greater Edmonton metropolitan area, South Edmonton Common is a neighbourhood within Edmonton, Alberta.

Transportation

Cars are a great mode of transportation in South Edmonton Common. It is especially convenient to park, and most homes for sale are a very short drive from the closest highway. The public transit system in this part of the city is also reasonably good thanks to a few nearby bus lines. South Edmonton Common is not especially amenable to biking because there are a limited number of bike lanes. Nonetheless, there are a limited number of elevation changes for cyclists to brave. Walking is also not very popular in South Edmonton Common, even though running common errands is easy on foot, and a good number of businesses of different types can be found as well.

Services

In South Edmonton Common, parents and their schoolchildren will generally be able to access primary schools and daycares by walking. In contrast, there are no high schools in this neighbourhood.
