The neighbourhood of University of Calgary is part of the city of Calgary, Alberta, which is situated in the Greater Calgary metropolitan area.

Transportation

No matter the mode of transportation, it is straightforward to move around in University of Calgary. Travelling by public transit is easy in this neighbourhood. For instance, rapid transit stations, such as University Station with access to the Red Line - Somerset - Bridlewood/Tuscany CTrain, are not very far away from the bulk of properties in the neighbourhood. There are about 10 bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are usually nearby. This area is also well-suited for walking; most daily needs are easy to meet on foot, and plenty of businesses are reasonably close by. A fair number of people in the area use their bike since the cycling network is very good.

Services

In most, if not all, cases, a vehicle is required in University of Calgary to access the nearest supermarket. Nevertheless, reaching the closest pharmacy and consequently some staple foods is generally easy. This area is a good place in which to go out to eat or go to a cafe.
