Transportation

McKenzie Lake is an extraordinarily good part of Calgary for moving around by car. It is very easy to park, and most homes for sale are a short drive from the nearest highway. In contrast, the public transit network in McKenzie Lake is not very practical. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and most residences are very close to a bus stop. This neighbourhood is bicycling-friendly since McKenzie Lake boasts a fairly good bicycling infrastructure, and riding a bike is made easier by the generally flat terrain. Most homes for sale in this part of the city are located in areas that are not very convenient for those who travel by foot as many daily needs are at times challenging to carry out without the use of a vehicle.
