Huxley is a neighbourhood within Calgary, Alberta, which is situated in the Greater Calgary metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is an excellent medium of transportation in Huxley. The street layout is quite conducive to cars, and coming across a parking spot is generally easy. In contrast, the public transit service in this neighbourhood is not very frequent. Nonetheless, homeowners have access to a few bus lines, and bus stops are not particularly far from most houses. Walking is not very practical for residents in this neighbourhood as running common errands is occasionally difficult. This area is also not very cycling-friendly because there are few bike lanes. Nevertheless, it is a flat ride to most locations.

Services

Huxley does not have any high schools or primary schools. Likewise, there are only a very small number of daycares and consequently they can be a very long walk away. With regards to eating, it is very rarely practical for property owners in Huxley to purchase their groceries on foot.
