The car is very often the best transportation option in Trait-Carré. Most real estate listings are a short car ride from the closest highway, such as Autoroute Laurentienne, and coming across a parking spot is generally easy. In contrast, the public transit system in this area is not especially convenient. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is connected by about 20 bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most homes.

It is easy to access the nearest supermarket by walking from anywhere in this part of Québec. There are also a limited number of choices for those who appreciate close by restaurants and cafes. As far as education is concerned, it is a short walk to reach daycares and schools from most properties for sale in this part of the city.

It is easy to access public green spaces from many locations within the neighbourhood since there are a few of them close by for residents to visit.
