The neighbourhood of Notre-Dame-des-Laurentides is part of the city of Québec, Quebec, which is situated in the Greater Québec City metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is a great mode of transportation in this area. It is a short drive to the nearest highway, such as Autoroute Laurentienne, from any location in Notre-Dame-des-Laurentides, and it is very easy to find a place to park. However, the public transit service in this neighbourhood is not very frequent. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is connected by approximately 10 bus lines, and most residences are very close to a bus stop. The bike is a reasonably good means of transportation in Notre-Dame-des-Laurentides. It is impractical for pedestrians to get around in this neighbourhood as very few common errands can be run without having to resort to a car.

Services

It is a rather short walk to reach daycares and primary schools from most properties for sale in Notre-Dame-des-Laurentides. In contrast, it can be very difficult to get to high schools as a pedestrian. In terms of food, some, but not all, home buyers in this area will live within walking distance of the closest supermarket. Residents of this area are served by around 10 restaurants as well.
