Transportation

This area is reasonably amenable to cycling because there are a fair number of bike lanes. It is also easy for people walking to navigate Sainte-Geneviève; many daily needs can be met on foot. The public transit system in this neighbourhood is rather poor. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and most properties are very close to a bus stop. On the other hand, commuting by car is easy in Sainte-Geneviève. Parking is quite easy.

Services

It is convenient to get to the nearest supermarket on foot from any location in this neighbourhood. There are also a limited number of choices for those who care about restaurants in close proximity. When it comes to education, in this part of the city, parents and their kids will usually be able to get to daycares and primary schools on foot. However, this part of Montréal does not contain any high schools.
