Transportation

Owing to Côte-Vertu Station with access to the Ligne 2 - Orange, and approximately 20 nearby bus lines, this neighbourhood is transit friendly. This neighbourhood is also a fairly convenient part of Montréal for pedestrians; many daily needs are convenient to meet without having to use a vehicle, and a fair number of businesses of different types can be found as well. Cycling is easy in Saint-Hyppolyte since bike riders do not encounter serious hills, and the bicycling infrastructure is reasonably well-developed.

Services

Schools and daycares are very convenient to walk to from anywhere in this part of Montréal. At the elementary level, there are both public and private schools. In terms of food, a general and a specialty grocery store is always only a short walk away in this area. Likewise, a restaurant is often just around the corner, and a limited selection of cafes is available as well.

Character

Saint-Hyppolyte is a very good neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a slower-paced atmosphere.
